Got a text today from the cute lady that works at the US Cellular store. The Galaxy Note 4 is officially scheduled for release on October 17th. I've already got one set aside for me.
It's going to be a heck of an upgrade from my 7 year old flip phone. The only downside? The flip phone fits perfectly in the dash cubbyhole where the factory clock would go in my truck.

I've owned a phone since 2007, never had a flip phone. :| I had a slider, then iphone from there on out. Are flip phones satisfying to use ?

It is satisfying to snap them shut at the end of a call, and since the screen is always protected you can toss them around without much fear of damaging it.
4 years ago I had a slider - LG Tritan. It was nice. It had a touch screen, a joystick mouse, and a full QWERTY keyboard.
